DV8™ Insertable Electrodes

 

spark on full contact with the skin and continue to spark when inserted. There is no glass to break anywhere and they are unbreakable in intended use, i.e. vaginal or anal insertion. This is guaranteed forever.

The body of the DV8™ Insertable Electrodes is made of Polycarbonate (the stuff bullet proof windows are made of, a common brand is “Lexan­®”), the tip is acrylic. The solid aluminum connector is precision made on a lathe. These electrodes are available in 1 inch, 3/4 inch and 5/8 inch diameter

 

PLEASE READ: The 1 inch version will not work at all and the 3/4″ version just barely with Wands that produce less than 40 kV, which includes, but is not limited to, at least 90% of the Chinese electronic Wands. This, because a spark length of at least 13 millimeters is needed for the 1 inch version and 10 millimeters for the 3/4 inch version. For 10 millimeters of spark length 30 kV are required, for a 13 mm spark, one needs 39 kV.

I recommend the 3/4 inch and 1 inch sizes with 12 mm connector for rebuilt antique units only. The Ukrainian electronic units will not work or not work well with these two sizes.
For the same reason, the 3/4″ and 1″ versions are not listed in the 11.25 mm connector size. I can make them for you in that size as long as you understand that they will not work or not work well with the Chinese Wands and confirm that with me before the order is placed.

 

THE DELUXE VERSION

The deluxe version has a “bumper”, also made of polycarbonate and unbreakable in intended use, which allows faster movements and pounding and avoids any unwanted sparking from the aluminum connector. Nevertheless, we also offer a “mean” version, which give a direct spark (quite intense!) every time the electrode is fully inserted and the bumper touches the body.   –  The last 1-1/2 inches of the regular model should not be inserted to avoid such sparking, unless that’s intended.

These electrodes can of course be used anywhere on the body and will spark on full contact. Pictures show electrode firmly held and touching the palm of the hand. As the idea is that the electrodes can be felt upon insertion, I recommend using Wands with a minimum output of 30,000 Volts. I feel it’s not worth using these on the low-power solid state devices.

WARNING : To avoid over-stimulation, continuously move the electrode. Do not leave it in the same position for more than a few seconds! As with all my electrodes, start with a low setting to not overpower you play partner.

 

CONNECTOR SIZES:

The 7/16 inch size will work with all new and most old/restored US units, and some of the Chinese “Nova” wands. Examples in the following picture:

The 11.25 millimeter size will work with most Chinese wands, including KinkLab “Neon Wand” and Zeus “Twilight Wand”, both of which are similar or identical to lots of units sold for around $25.00 on eBay, just put “D’Arsonval” in the search field. I do not offer the 3/4″ and 1″ size for these Wands, as they don’t have the power to work properly with these sizes.

The 12 millimeter size will work with the Ukrainian units and very few of the antique European Violet Ray devices very few of the old West European violet ray units from the 30’s to 50’s (the best-known examples are Radiostat/Radiolux, Vio and Ideal). These are the Ukrainian units:

 

11 mm European standard size (most new and old units). Here are a few pictures for these units, but there is a huge number of different European units out there. Nevertheless, most old European units (1980s and before) take 11 mm. Of the modern European units, all but those from Eastern Europe also use 11 mm.

     

 

Finally, there is the 10 mm size used by the antique units, which were made by Carl Haider GmbH, Munich, Germany in the 1930s. We do not stock units for this device, but can make them as a custom order. Please contact us if you need one.
