Our DV8™ Light Bulb Adapter is made with a solid aluminum connector, precision made on a lathe. It will always fit and never break! This Adapter makes a Violet Wand Electrode out of any Standard Base Light Bulb. You can use all kinds of different light bulbs with this device and get totally different sensations. The smaller/pointier they are, the stronger. You can get candelabra adapters for light bulbs with smaller thread, which give you an even greater selection,  in any hardware store. We’re not selling them here, because we would have to charge more.

NEVER use light bulbs for any kind of insertion play, they are not strong enough!

 

SIZES:

The 7/16 inch version will work with all new and most old/restored US units, examples in the following picture:

 

7/16″ extra long for the old “Nova” Wand (black with silver sparkle and long nose cone, see below). The newer versions do not need an extra long connector

 

The 11.25 millimeter version will work with most Chinese wands, including KinkLab “Neon Wand” and Zeus “Twilight Wand”, both of which are similar or identical to lots of units sold for around $25.00 on eBay, just put “D’Arsonval” in the search field. Examples of those units:

 

The 12 millimeter version will work with the Ukrainian units and very few of the old West European violet ray units from the 30’s to 50’s (the best-known examples are Radiostat/Radiolux, Vio and Ideal). These are the Ukrainian units:

 

11 mm European standard size (most new and old units). Here are a few pictures for these units, but there is a huge number of different European units out there. Nevertheless, most old European units (1980s and before) take 11 mm. Of the modern European units, all but those from Eastern Europe also use 11 mm.

     

Finally, there is the 10 mm size used by the antique units, which were made by Carl Haider GmbH, Munich, Germany in the 1930s. We do not stock units for this device, but can make them as a custom order. Please contact us if you need one.
